The practice is very very difficult to get an appointment for, they open the phone lines at 0830 and their appointments will have gone by 0845 - if you can get in touch with them at during this time.
They are currently trying a walk-in appointment system (01 -31 March 14) that is first come first seen between the hours of 0930 and 1100, however, having attended a walk-in clinic again I would not recommend it. I arrived at 1035 and was seen at 1220.
The reception staff are on the most part helpful, however they can't offer appointments that the surgery does not have!

Thank you for your feedback. We have made a lot of changes to the Walk In Clinic since the intial pilot back in March. We now have two GP's seeing patients in that clinic and we are much more specific about the conditions we see - please see www.leylandsmedicalcentre.nhs.uk for more information. We have also recently launched online appointments which I hope will provide another option for booking appointments. Helen Procter General Manager
